Using the system

Does it test students at the end of the lesson?

Yes, there are assessments after each lesson and the math questions are exam-style questions. The assessments must be passed in order to move onto the next section, following the philosophy of the Mastery Method.

What other information can I find out about my progress?

From the Trainee Dashboard, you can view your overall passing score, regardless of how much of the course you have completed, alongside how many courses you have attempted and completed. Your total time on the system to date can also be seen. These all feed back into our medal achievements. Can you collect the gold medal?

What information can a school administrator access?

Teachers can view a student's progress through the system, their time spent online whether a student is struggling with a topic and or if they need extra help. School administrators, principals, department chairs, etc. can also monitor their teacher's progress throughout the course.

Can students continue from the last lesson they completed?

Yes. As well as being able to select a course to retake following completion, the ‘resume’ button on the Dashboard will bring the user back to where they left off.

News & Events

As a passionate mathematics educator seeking always to find better and new ways to teach my students, I really value what eMathMaster has to offer. The lessons are insightful and engaging and provide strong visual and auditory reinforcement of the material better than anything else I have seen on the market. The teacher training videos offer insight that normally has to be gleaned through years of teaching experience and introduce insightful ways of teaching the material. I can genuinely say that I have learned valuable tricks along the way, even though I have been teaching for 15 years. Some of the techniques have sparked conversations amongst colleagues and have provided us with alternative means of explaining lessons.
